Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technicians are provided an onsite 120-hour firefighter program and a 120-hour
Emergency Medical Technician course. Firefighter/Engineers are provided an onsite 120-hour firefighter program.  Once
you have completed the initial required training, your monthly commitment will vary dependent upon the needs of the
Department and community.  Active participation is a mandatory requirement for membership.  Regular drills are held
each Monday at 6:00 pm.  Additional drills are conducted throughout the year.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to pass the Department Physical.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must live/work within the CCFD5 boundaries.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to read and write the English language fluently enough to perform the duties of a Firefighter/EMT.
Must have a valid Washington State Driver’s License and a history of safe driving habits.
